Check out the Latest B&B Updates for January!

Our daylight is increasing quickly in the northland as we move toward the end of winter… I am getting excited about this big summer season coming. Are you getting excited about the prospect of coming to Alaska this summer, too? This is going to be an exciting year for us at Alaska Garden Gate B&B and Cottages, and we look forward to sharing it with you.

We are debuting our four newest cottages, and they are our biggest and best yet! The Birch, Cottonwood, Spruce and Willow cottages are all Two Bedroom/Two Bathroom units that fit up to 5 guests each. They feature a King master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a Queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom, full kitchen, and living room with fireplace. Each bedroom and the living room have flatscreen TVs with cable TV, as well as free wireless internet. This brings our total number of lodging choices for guests to 20 units, ranging from simple bedrooms with private bathrooms, to cozy one bedroom cottages, to these largest two bedroom/two bathroom cottages! Any spot you choose includes full, hot breakfast served buffet-style between 7:30-9:30 a.m. in our Dining Hall, just steps from your cottage or room.

This year, our personal hospitality and expert knowledge of our Mat-Su Valley area have the added benefit of more delicious choices at our daily buffet breakfast, and also a new fire pit and S’mores kits available each night!

Our 2017 Vacation Planner is full of trip planning resources, day-trip itineraries and information about our B&B.

In addition, get all the information you need about our exciting excursions and day tours, including Talkeetna Air Taxi, taking guests soaring through the Denali range, and Mica Guides, providing trekking and ice-climbing tours right on the Matanuska Glacier!

Our Vacation Planner is your first step to adventure! This is my fifteenth year in business, and I’m more excited than ever to share all that’s great about our Mat-Su Valley with you. Let us host your stay at Alaska Garden Gate B&B and Cottages for the days you’ll be in our area–you may even decide there’s so much to do by us that you’ll need an extra night’s stay or two!
