Directions to Alaska Garden Gate B&B

From Anchorage
Alaska Garden Gate B&B is located 33 miles north of Anchorage, or about 45 minutes from the Anchorage Airport. Most people flying into Anchorage or arriving by cruise ship rent a car in Anchorage. If coming from Anchorage, take the Glenn Highway #1 north to the Parks Highway #3. At that junction, follow signs towards Wasilla on Parks Highway #3.

Immediately move to the right hand lane and get off at the first exit, Trunk Road. Go North on Trunk Rd. (to your Right if coming from Anchorage) 1.1 miles. Watch your mileage carefully --it's exactly 1.1 miles. Our driveway is across from Immanuel Baptist Church. By GPS, our lat/lon is N61 34.373 W149 15.669.

You’ll see our cottages sitting on the hill--Come up the long driveway to the B&B. There is a gravel parking lot with six spaces in front of the house. Just pull nose-in toward the lawn to park. We can check you in at the B&B and then get your settled. Check-in is between 4 p.m. -10 p.m.

From Fairbanks or Denali
Take the Parks Highway #3 to the Trunk Rd. exit. Turn Left onto Trunk and go exactly 1.1 miles to our driveway, on your Left.

From Glenallen/East Glenn Highway #1
In Palmer, turn Right on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway by McDonalds. Go several stop lights to Trunk Rd. Turn Left. Go approximately 2.5 miles to our driveway, on your Right.
