Cancellation Policies and
Other Information
You may call to cancel with no penalty up to 15 days in advance. Cancelling between 3-14 days in advance will result in a one-night charge. With less than three days' notice, you'll be charged the full amount of your stay. Most people traveling to Alaska know within two weeks if they are going to be able to make their trip. If we haven't heard from you, we'll expect you and keep your room for you.
A full, country-style hot breakfast is served between 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the time you designate for the next day. We can accommodate dietary restrictions. Please let us know if you are vegetarian, vegan, can not have dairy, pork, wheat, etc.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, travellers checks, and cash for payment.
Check in time is between 4-10 p.m. Check out time is 11 a.m.
If you're arriving after 10 p.m., please call ahead to let us know when to expect you.
The B&B is closed between 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. You are welcome to be here 19 hours of the day, but we request the five "closed" hours for cleaning and host privacy during the busy summer months. Please let us know if illness prevents you from leaving to tour or enjoy the magnificent scenery in our area for the day.
Quiet hours are observed between 10 p.m.- 7 a.m. everyday. Because so many travelers come in from other time zones, and with the sun shining brightly at 2 or 3 a.m., it can be challenging to lure your body into sleep. Please help other guests get a good night's rest by not using the common areas between those times. Books, magazines, and movies are available for use in your room, as well as each room has wireless Internet, in case you're one of the ones WIDE awake at midnight or 4 a.m.
Discounts are given at management's discretion for: AAA, AARP, military and others.
Shoes: please respect the Alaska custom of leaving your shoes by the front entry bench. Slippers are available for your use, in the seat of the bench.
The B&B is non-smoking. There is a butt-can to the side of the garage for outdoors smokers.
Pets are allowed on approval at the time of the reservation, if a Pet-OK room is available. The cost is $15/night per pet. Yummy Chummy salmon treats are included!
We have a Siberian Husky named Little Girl. She lives in the common areas and sleeps in Karen's room. She isn't permitted in guest rooms, but for guests who are highly allergic, this may not be the best location for your stay.

Enjoy the Iditarod from the B&B!
